Tidbits
1) I’ve been dying for a big bowl of this cheesy grits with garlic sauteed kale and corn all week long. Heather’s pictures are stunning! (via The Flourishing Foodie)
2) Jessica came out with her annual insanely long and awesome list of football food. 135 recipes to be exact. Cue angels singing. (via How Sweet Eats)
3) Lindsay shared amazingly helpful and time-saving tips for food photography. (via Pinch of Yum)
4) This spiced plum and honey cake. I’ve been eating my weight in plums this summer…Italian plums, apriums (apricot + plum = amazing!), pluots, red, you name it. It’s only logical that I start eating them in cake form as well. (via The Matchbox Kitchen)
5) Mykonos Greek baked eggs. Kalamata olives, feta cheese, garlic, and fresh herbs. Need I say more? (via Salted & Styled)
6) Stephanie made this no-knead bread with toasted grains as part of a new 12-week bread + video blog series. Ooh, ooh, and she also included a fun little video too. Bring on the carbs. (via Girl Versus Dough)

Thanks for sharing! I’m glad you posted the recipe for the no knead bread, I was looking for something like that!
Glad you enjoy the link round-ups! Definitely be sure to visit Stephanie’s blog. It’s great! 🙂
#’s 2 and 3 are my favorite! I pinned the photography post earlier in the week. Great list!
Thanks Shea! 🙂
Hi, Laura! Great list (of course!). Yeah – Lindsay’s post was fabulous (again, of course!). And I wish that I was going to be eating grits, baked eggs and no-knead bread for breakfast, followed by plum and honey cake. No, really … I could do it … 😀
Thanks so much Shelley! Yes, I loved Lindsay’s post–she shares such wonderful information on her blog. And I totally agree, I could eat all of these dishes in one meal and be extremely happy, haha.
Mmmm. Those baked eggs look delicious; similar to the French oeufs en cocotte. The feta I’m sure gives a great punch to them.
I know! Feta is the best 😉
Jessica’s list is insane…as I expected it to be! Awesome!! And I loved Lindsay’s post. She always has the very best tips! Ok and those grits? Want those!
Your list was INSANE as well, Tieghan. In fact, I could easily create a tidbits post every week just dedicated to links to your recipes, haha. Don’t those grits look heavenly? 🙂
oh, i’ve never had an Aprum!
I found them at Trader Joe’s! I had never seen them before either–they look like a plum, but are sort of soft and fuzzy like an apricot. Really good!
Just googled it again and realized I made a boo-boo. It’s actually called an aprium. Not aprum.
