Haha, I remember hot days in DC. The best is when there's a metro car completely empty and you get excited that you don't have to sit with anyone and then you get on it and realize the A/C is broken and it's almost dangerously hot inside. And you don't have enough time to run off the car into a colder one so you have to sit there until the next stop. And then when you run off you debate telling the people coming on that they should find another car but instead decide it's every man for himself and they'll have to learn the hard way. And then you realize you're a jerk. Yeah I miss those times.
Iheartvegetables — I KNOW! It has been ridiculous, I hope it is not a sign of how hot the entire summer will be. Otherwise I will be spending most time indoors near the A/C. Hope you didn't lose power!
I can't believe how insane the VA heat has been! We lost power last night so it got warm in my apt!
